Dyaspora Summary
      Dyaspora is written by Joanne Hyppolite. In the book she is having a hard time being both a Haitian and American. She lived in Boston and that was where she grew up.Even though her parents still practice Haiti's culture she is still not comfortable. "Dyaspora" mainly talks about Haitians culture such as the food they eat. It was hard for her and even her younger sister who even said that she was american and denied that she was a Haitian.Her classmates even know she was different because she was a Haitian and they also dress differently. She then decides to become a writer because in her writing they can know how she feels and make people understand her thought.
